Changing perspectives. Changing lives.Big Brothers Big Sisters is not your typical organization. We help children realize their potential and build their futures. We nurture children and strengthen communities. We are a volunteer and donor supported organization that changes kids' lives for the better, forever. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Muscatine County has been a program of the Muscatine Community YMCA since 1994.Our program partners with local companies and businesses to offer employees the opportunity to be a school based mentor. In our school based mentoring program volunteer Big Brothers or Big Sisters meet with their Little Brother or Little Sister once a week, for one hour, during the work and school day. Our current volunteer partners include; HNI, Allsteel, The HON Company, MUSCO Lighting, Bridgestone Bandag, First National Bank of Muscatine, Central State Bank of Muscatine, Kent Corporation and Members Community Credit Union.
