When Linking Assets Inc. locates a dormant owner who is still living, he or she is informed of where the asset is being held. We report his or her current address to the company that engaged our services in an effort to re-establish the relationship. This is all done without requesting a fee from the newly found owner or the company. When Linking Assets Inc. determines that a dormant owner is deceased and his or her estate is unaware of the unclaimed assets being held, we offer to recover those assets for the estate on behalf of the rightful heirs. Our fee for that service is compensated by the estate in the form of a percentage of the total value recovered. Upon perfecting a recovery on our clients' behalf, we continue to monitor and search for additional assets.
