    • Established in 1988, Paramount is a locally owned insurance company headquartered in Maumee, Ohio. In 2012 it served nearly 200,000 members in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, offering insurance to both large and small groups, as well as to Medicare and Medicaid subscribers. As one of only five insurance companies chosen by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to serve Medicaid recipients in all 88 counties beginning in 2013, it continues to rapidly expand. Paramount maintains accreditation by NCQA (the National Committee for Quality Assurance) for its Ohio HMO, Elite and Advantage products, as well as its URAC-accredited Ohio MCO, Health Management Solutions. There currently are more than 450 employees who embody the organizations values of compassion, excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
