• Adyptation is a software and data analytics company serving healthcare. We build software solutions for healthcare providers to track patient health and support care management. We specialize in remote health tracking for chronic illness and disease and have an emphasis on complex conditions like autoimmune disease. Managing patients with complex conditions like autoimmune disease is difficult. The problem is symptoms are vague and may not present during a scheduled doctors visit. This results in a lengthy diagnosis process, visits with numerous doctors and multiple tests. The scarcity of standardized tests and volume of information results in a big data problem that needs to be addressed. The net effect is health professionals lack actionable data to manage patients health and quickly guide them to an effective treatment strategy. Our product uses analytics to detect changes in a patients health status and sends alerts to the care team along with statistics on health progression. We collect data from medical devices as well as patient-generated health data (PGHD) from consumer wearable devices. Our product is designed to support the patient/provider conversation to quickly identify effective treatment strategies so that patients achieve and maintain better health. Our story begins with the transfer of Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) technology to the commercial healthcare sector. Our CEO, Ryan Jankord, worked at AFRL leading efforts in brain, biology and genetics to enhance human performance and was awarded an opportunity to transfer AFRLs capabilities in next-generation sensors, physiology tracking and data science to address unmet healthcare needs.
