- Establishment of the «World Patriarchal Maronite Foundation for Integral Development» : With this decree, Pursuant to the Canon # 1047, Article 1, Clause 1, of the Code of Canon Laws of the Eastern Churches, we establish the «World Patriarchal Maronite Foundation for Integral Development» as a pious independent institution subject to the competent ecclesiastic laws related to the temporal funds for the church and religious waqef. This Foundation aims to launch developmental, social, economic and educational programs in order to promote the active Christian presence in Lebanon and the Middle East within the principles, mechanism, and organizational structure as determined by the Constitutions and By-laws. We hope that the Foundation will achieve its objectives by the help of God for His Glory and the good of the church and her children. Bkerke, 23 February 2014
