• Summers at Jewish overnight camp turn Jewish youth into spirited and engaged adults, laying the groundwork for strong Jewish communities. The Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC) aspires to elevate the field of nonprofit Jewish camp, conferring proper recognition and granting appropriate support to expand its impact across our community, so that camp can be a critical element of every Jewish young persons education.MISSION: FJC unifies and galvanizes the field of nonprofit Jewish overnight camp and significantly increases the number of children participating in transformative summers at Jewish camp, assuring a vibrant North American Jewish community. FJC knows that the level of leadership skills camp professionals have directly correlates to the quality of the camp program. Therefore we created several Professional Development programs for the full scope of them, from the bunk counselor or specialist up to the top leadership, the camp director.
