• The Center for Accessible Technology (CforAT) focuses on technology and people with disabilities. We provide consulting services to companies on website accessibility, including testing and recommendations of accessibility barrier removal. We assist our clients in making their online presence accessible to people with disabilities and compliant with accessibility standards. We also have a Test Bank of people with disabilities who can do product testing from a disability perspective.CforAT runs the AT Coalition, an online portal that provides up-to-date information on assistive technology, and offers trainings and articles on a wide range of topics on disability and technology.CforAT works at the California Public Utilities Commission, representing the issues faced by the disability community in proceedings on energy and telecommunications.CforAT provides local (San Francisco Bay Area) direct services to children with disabilities in schools, providing assessments and training on appropriate assistive technology accommodations. CforAT also works with adults to assist them in finding technology solutions that helps them find (or retain) jobs, and provides training to seniors on how to use technology.CforAT is a non profit 501(c)3 organization, founded in 1983.
