Over time, through her classroom teaching, tutoring, and mentoring experience, Dana recognized the need for more appropriate schools in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for many students, especially high-potential students with learning differences and those considered twice-exceptional (2e). In 2010, Dana and her team founded The Jones-Gordon School (then called On-Track Academy) in order to fill the need for an educational environment dedicated to these diverse learners.
