Today, with over 300 employees, a 15,000 square foot commissary, and an exclusive special event trade at the historic Boston Public Library, TCA covers all of eastern New England. The history of TCA is a classic example of an entrepreneur developing an avocation into a vocation. Starting off in the 1970s as an enthusiastic amateur chef and party giver, Founder and President of TCA, Holly Safford began in her home with a few cookbook recipes, a modest kitchen, and a flair for entertaining. Ms. Safford was soon a household name among the Boston area food cognoscenti. With TCA for many years, Saffords sons Andrew Marconi (Vice President) and Alex Marconi (Vice President of Operations) helped build a strong model for management and promotion with a focus on excellence in operations.
