- At Le Canot Rouge, we love the quote, the canoe became much more than a vehicle. It became a way of interpreting experience. In the landscape of the imagination, the canoe connects us first to the land, to the Aboriginal people, to the explorers and then to more illusive notions like freedom and possibility. The paper manufacturer purchases enough Green-e certified Renewable Energy Certificates to match 100% of the electricity used in its operations. A 10% donation of Le Canot Rouges gross sales goes to animal welfare causes in support of every single needy woof-purr-oink-whinnie-moo-baa-chirp-glub-eek-bleet-grunt-hiss-and-squeak possible.
