- Based in Denver, Colorado, Platte River Equity is a private equity firm focused on investing in middle market operating companies. Platte River's principals bring unique industry experience, insights and guidance to the management teams of its portfolio companies to help drive transformational growth. These include: Aerospace & Transportation - Aerospace components, machining, assembly and processing - Aircraft overhaul and repair - Rail infrastructure and inland waterway services, components and maintenance Industrial & Energy Products & Services - Specialized upstream, midstream and downstream services - Inspection, maintenance and repair of industrial and energy infrastructure - Critical energy and industrial infrastructure products and equipment Chemicals, Metals & Minerals - Specialty chemicals and industrial minerals - Agricultural inputs, products and services - Specialty metals manufacturing and processing Platte River Equity invests in North American-based middle market companies where our principals can provide meaningful value to portfolio company management teams. Platte River seeks equity investments between $10 million and $80 million.
