• The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation was created in loving memory of McKenzie, who passed away in 2010. The Foundations desire is to inspire and help young people find their purpose through educational and personal develop programs. CARE: We want to see the world change just as McKenzie did. And that change begins with YOU. Random Acts of Kindness is a movement weve created to encourage people to be kind to others. Our students and club members are encouraged to perform Random Acts of Kindness not only in their schools and with their friends, but that this movement would become a lifestyle! McKenzie Clubs are growing in area high schools to carry out this mission and teach this lifestyle. GIVE: Our mission is the increase the high school graduation rate among our students. We serve over 300 students at our McKenzie's Academic Resource Centers - MARC. Our centers provide daily educational programming for students living in the Portside and Countryside Communities in Jacksonville, FL. Each MARC center includes a fully equipped technology lab and book library. GROW: The establishment and reinforcement of core values, beliefs, emotional maturity, and spirituality in teens is something we cant dare to take lightly. We at the Foundation strongly believe in encouraging teens to pursue spiritual lives that revolve around moral growth. We want our youth to lead positive lives of love, something that can come easily when spirituality is a part of their life. GLOBAL OUTREACH: Okoa Refuge, Inc. is an independent non-profit organization run by Liv and Tyler Workman in Uganda to provide emotional, physical, and spiritual support for orphans. In 2011, we first teamed up with Okoa to proudly open the doors of Amaka ga McKenzie, or McKenzies Home. We kept building and now have a Girls Home, a Boys Home, and an Abandoned Baby Home. The Foundation is proud to announce our commitment of $250,000 over the next 5 years to Okoa Refuge.
