- Our Mission: The North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operating in the North End / Waterfront neighborhood of the City of Boston. Our mission is to provide quality, affordable arts programming and, through our work, we aim to strengthen relationships within the communities we serve.Who We Are: NEMPAC is the North End of Bostons key resource for arts programming. A group of North End mothers founded NEMPAC in 2001 in an effort to create musical programming for their children. Today, we are serving over 700 students a week through our education programs and partnerships What We Offer:10-week long courses: Music, drama, yoga, and Italian language for toddlers, children, and adults.Private Music instruction: Voice, piano, guitar, strings, brass, percussion, woodwinds, music theoryPrivate Group Instruction: An intimate class setting with 3-4 students for maximized individual attentionChildrens Music Theatre Program: Music, Dance, and ActingFree Concerts & Events: Featuring students, instructors, and professional musicians.Professional Annual Opera ProductionNEMPAC has fostered neighborhood participation in the arts through our Community Outreach Programs. Our partnerships include: Eliot Innovation School, St. Johns Elementary School, Longy School of Music Educational Outreach Program, North End Library, Nazzaro Community CenterNEMPAC, has assembled a wonderful collection in many disciplines across music, art, and performance. We offer classes to appeal to many tastes and needs.
