The program is designed to graduate students with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Health Care Studies. This degree would prepare students to enter the workforce in the various health related fields including health delivery organizations, insurance or payer organizations, medical product companies and government agencies.Distinguishing Features: The robust and detailed curriculum has beendeveloped by IHC which introduces senior level healthcare-focused courses that are essential to graduates who wish to enter the healthcare workforce. Coursework will include outcomes research, health disparities, business management. It will focus on disease prevention and wellness, health care reform and its impact on the economy and ethics. The Student Development Center will provide career coaching for each student as they embark on a career choice by contractually representing the student as a recruiter. Provide workshops and seminars as it relates to the development of the student profile including (interview techniques, application prep, writing a personal statement etc.) Our electronic medical records database can be customized for use by your institution and serves as a source for student research and special projects
