• Formed in January 1992 in response to the aviation engineering and analytical needs of the U.S. Army Aviation community, Avion has also expanded into software and biometric solutions with wide commercial applications.For ten years, Avion Solutions, Inc. was comprised of two divisions: a Manufacturing Division headquartered in St. Louis, MO, and an Engineering & Logistics Services Division located in Huntsville, AL. In October 2002, Avion Manufacturing, Inc. and AVTASK were incorporated as separate entities. Avion Solutions, Inc. retained all Engineering, Logistics and Software Development services related work and continues its extensive support for PEO Aviation, RDEC, AMCOM functional elements and related organizations, across all engineering and technical logistical lines. Avion Solutions, Inc. has enjoyed continued success and sustained growth over its two decades of operation through the provision of quality, dedicated, innovative and timely response to customer requirements. The firm currently employs 150 engineering and technical personnel.
