• The mission of Angel Guardians, Inc. is to improve the quality of life for special-needs teens and adults in the areas of housing, employment, fitness, socialization and recreation.Angel Guardians, Inc. works diligently to help put the puzzle pieces of life together for teenagers and adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities. While many opportunities and programs exist for children with special needs, many families discover a void as the children reach maturity. Angel Guardians was created to enrich the lives of these exceptional individuals through adulthood.Angel Guardians is a Nebraska 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization that is committed to:Providing services that support and nurture an environment in whichindividuals with developmental disabilities are able to continuallyenhance life skills, self-sufficiency and self esteem.Fostering and maintaining high standards of everyday living fordevelopmentally disabled adults by providing unique and excitingchoices for training and instruction through our AngelWorks CareerCenter, Hand Me-Ups Thrift Store and Hand Me-Ups Used FurnitureGallery. Stimulating public interest in advocating for increased opportunities forindividuals with developmental disabilities.Affiliation and cooperation with programs, agencies and organizationswhich share similar objectives.
