    Description

    • The Laramie Soup Kitchen, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit registered with the State of Wyoming, has been serving the hungry in the Laramie community since 1983. Started by a group of local church women who prepared meals in their own homes to serve 10-12 people in whatever public space was available, they soon moved to the old Salvation Army Building and, in 1988, to the lower-level of St. Matthews Episcopal Cathedral, where it is located today. On average we serve between 50 to 70 people for lunch and provide hot lunches Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. and our doors are open from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. We believe hunger hits more than the stomach and are committed to creating a community that feeds the stomach as well as the soul. Food is free to all, no requirements needed or questions asked. Families Welcome.
