Minnesota Oncology also provides you access to the latest clinical trials through our affiliation with US Oncology, one of the nations largest cancer treatment and research networks. Because cancer is not one disease, but a term covering many distinct diseases, many types of treatment are required and no one treatment is right for everyone.Thats why Minnesota Oncology physicians customize a course of treatment to meet each individuals needs and condition. Its also why our staff includes specialists in medical oncology, hematology, gynecologic oncology, radiation therapy and thoracic oncology all working together to treat the whole patient, not just the disease. Whats more, having physicians with related cancer care specialties allows us more opportunities to integrate therapies that benefit the patient.
