• Interval Data Systems, Inc. was founded because of a need in the marketplace to understand energy usage on an operational, maintenance, and cost reduction basis. IDS started in the fall of 2003 with the belief that in the near future, all facilities managers will use data to manage energy consumption and costs. And EnergyWitness was born.Facilities organizations can more effectively manage their utilities and building operations with sufficient factual information available to base decisions on. Costs associated with utilities, building control systems, and their associated equipment have been impossible to monitor in the past due to the lack of available data.
