- An organization that develops, grows and nurtures peer support in Alaska. Peer support being people with mental health issues, alcohol and drug use issues, TBI, DD and Alzheimers/related dementia supporting each other or their families supporting other families. Peer support is about building on each others strengths and providing hop that things can be different.The Consortium is a statewide network of peers operated services, peer support groups and individuals working in peer support. It provides workforce development, education and systemic advocacy, partnerships with other stakeholders to increase peer support, conferences, training and education peers and member meetings throughout the year.
