Geolean Usa

Description

• Manufacturing professionals are tasked to shape and advance a production system that will essentially orchestrate the flow of materials, information, people and processes in your plant. At Geolean, we refer to this as internal logistics. When properly supported, internal logistics should promote efficient (or LEAN) material handling by analyzing and improving part storage, movement, protection and presentation. However you define it, we focus on material handling because it is one of the most critical functions impacting production. A companys ability to evaluate and continuously improve in this area will impact morale, safety, quality, cost, and delivery simultaneously. Statistics show that, on average, 70% of production costs and 55% of plant space are associated with material handling. Meaning, your ability to win at manufacturing will be impacted by the health and effectiveness of your internal logistics system. A few questions to consider: -Does your internal logistics system connect all departments? -Does your internal logistics system receive the same priority as production? -How are you evaluating your systems capability and effectiveness? -Who is helping you create immediate physical change on your plant floor? Geoleans mission is to partner with our clients and address these questions with you, in your plant. We are hands-on and engage your team on the shop floor to drive physical and sustainable material flow improvements. So whether you are starting down the path to a structured improvement system or need a turbo boost to go from good to great, contact Geolean to initiate a discussion on how we can support your journey to operational excellence.
