Blue Whale Books

Description

• Blue Whale Books was established in 2006 to address various problems faced by all schools and parents. We realised that school and classroom commitments mean that it is very difficult for teachers to find the time to see representatives from all the major publishers. Apart from this the needs of schools and individual pupils especially, can vary enormously. Our aim is to offer a wide choice of books and resources from all relevant publishers and to offer expert and impartial advice on choosing them. In addition to supplying books we also have other great, fun ways of promoting them! Blue Whale is the biggest mammal on this earth and as our name suggests we would like to provide biggest collection for kids in the ocean of learning. We celebrate words and the ability to communicate, either through the printed word or the spoken word. Blue Whale aims to work with teachers and parents to help to improve the resources of schools. This is in direct relation to our underlying objectives: bringing first class books and cultural services into the communities where access to them is limitedAt Blue Whale we are committed to a simple philosophy; that good books are an integral part of children's personal awareness and educational development. As part of this philosophy we bring acclaimed story tellers, puppeteers, practicing artists, who run creative workshops, to visit schools with a view to providing positive role models for children.
