Howard Johnson Hotel And Water Playground - Anaheim/Disneyland

Description

• The Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground at Disneyland is the mid-scale leader in Anaheim for rate, occupancy, and guest satisfaction. Privately owned and operated by the same family since opening day, this hotel has acquired a team of industry experts to lead the operations, revenue management, sales, marketing and social media efforts. A top TripAdvisor.com hotel since TripAdvisor.com's inception, this hotel boasts some of the most impressive guest satisfaction statistics in the area. Astute marketing and revenue management have made this Howard Johnson location the toast of the brand. The hotel's own website receives almost as many hits as the brand site itself. The brand team frequently use this facility to beta-test guest programs, hotel software and other new objectives. Built in 1965 by world famous architect William L. Pereira, this original west coast Howard Johnson remains a Disney area icon to this day. Enjoying an enviable location across from Matterhorn mountain at Disneyland park, this ten-acre hotel property offers 303 rooms, a Mimi's Cafe restaurant and open space slated for a second 222-room hotel in 2015. Other unique facilities include the only non-Disney waterpark in the city of Anaheim. Castaway Cove, a pirate-themed water playground, has been leveraged to thrust this already successful hotel into a strong position as a consumer top pick among the non-Disney hotels.
