- We created The Lady Athlete because we wanted a space to exist that supported all female athletes, no matter what stage of the game they're in. We've all experienced and witnessed the inequalities that occur for female athletes and coaches on a daily basis. From the decreased amount of scholarship money at the high school level to simply not letting a young lady play a male sport. It's time we stop it. Stop comparing girls and boys. Stop the overly sensitive way we approach coaching young ladies. It's time to level the playing field. TheLadyAthlete.com celebrates what it means to be a female athlete and the people who support them. Our purpose is to continue the mission of creating a world where all sports are created equal.
