• Gas Trailer hatched as a business from the collaboration of a few airplane pilots in the summer of 2011. After exhaustive searching and investigating to try and locate a portable gas refueling station, we were out of luck unless we wanted an oversize fuel trailer that held enough gas for not only our plane, but probably all others at the field. To solve this problem and find a smaller, lightweight, and easily portable fuel station, being the highly skilled aviators that we are, we fabricated one. After using the gas trailer to keep our Cessna fueled, we quickly realized that we had a niche. Not only was it making our lives easier and saving us a bundle by not paying field prices for the fuel, people were asking where they could get one. At first we were just happy to have something others admired, but as the question continued to be asked where to get one, we fabricated another. As word spread and the requests came in, we quickly outgrew the small build space in the hangar and found a more suitable home under the wing of a local business in Milwaukee, WI. During the summer of 2012, to streamline operations, improve, and increase trailer model offerings, the business moved to Green Bay, WI and began operating as Petro2Go.
