We realize that no single agency has either the resources or the capacity to deal with all the problems of hunger. Hence the importance HALF UNITED attaches to collaboration with partner agencies, which address hunger at its core. Women in particular are key to change; providing food and employment to women puts it in the hands of those who use it for the benefit of the entire household, especially the children. In 2015 HALF UNITED began employing the underserved and lesser qualified as one channel to fight hunger. To date HALF UNITED has given 500,000 meals to children in need.
