• Amtec Medical, based in Austin, Texas, has been serving the medical industry for 27 years. We currently have sales reps cover five southern states; Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. Since its inception, Amtec has specialized in pioneering new technology and products into the hospital and homecare market. We focus on introducing products that have the potential to change the standard of care in the medical arena.Amtec started as an IV pump and pharmacy product distributor, introducing numerous pumps that have been in the industry, to the market. We have represented syringe pumps, PCA pumps, IV pumps, enteral pumps, breast pumps and smart pumps. Simultaneously, we have distributed syringes, valves, sets, PICC lines, among many other clinical products.While we are active in most parts of the hospital, currently our focus is on the neonatal and pharmacy markets. These two spaces have a lot of opportunity due to the specialization of their needs. In the NICU market, we represent BD Enteral syringes, Neomedical PICC lines, Neodevices enteral accessories, among numerous other devices. For pharmacy, we carry QI Medical testing products, Metrix bags, the Autocomp XP compounder, and BD bulk oral syringes.Specialty products include Statseal-a hemostatic powder to aid in clotting for PICC lines, central lines, radial procedures among other wounds. SecuAcath is the only subcutaneous securement device and has just been recommeneded on the 2016 INS guidelines. CQuencia is a PGX test that will eliminate adverse drug reactions and has a portal for interactions between patients and all caregivers.
