Our professionals combine for more than 80 years of money management experience and 142 years of financial services experience. The staff is an efficient, cross-trained group of professionals whose responsibilities within the firm often overlap. J.P. Marvel Investment Advisors, Inc. manages a variety of account types including Individual, Joint, IRAs, Trusts, Corporations, and Estate accounts. Each account, or portfolio, is managed using one primary investment style: Equity: 70% or more of the portfolio is invested in equitiesFixed Income: 70% or more of the portfolio is invested in fixed income (municipal or treasury bonds)Balanced: less than 70% of the portfolio is invested in equity and at least 10% of the portfolio is invested in fixed income Each portfolio is held at the clients custodian of choice, and J.P. Marvel manages the portfolio.
