• Orangefield Child Development Center & Learning Studio is a NEW preschool in Garden Grove, CA where children and parents are able to be a part of a supportive, inclusive environment; a home-away-from-home that is a high quality power-source for a child's growth and development. Our mission is to provide the individual interaction, personalized care, learning, exploration, and play that are essential components of an effective early care and education (ECE) experience so that children develop the cognitive, communicative, and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in elementary school while enjoying their time in a physically safe setting. Because children come to our programs with different life experiences and family backgrounds, each child will interpret our activities in a unique way and different children will acquire different understandings. Therefore, Orangefield is committed to having well-prepared, effective teachers who are able to design and implement a challenging program that provides guidance for children while encouraging childrens exploration and accommodating individualization. Our teachers will accomplish these goals by developing a variety of engaging, hands-on activities, participating in childrens play to encourage inventiveness and communication, and carefully adjusting the difficulty of each activity to correspond to individual childrens capabilities. To ensure the development of English proficiency and communication, teacher-child dialog, journaling, and childrens discussion of interests and ideas is an essential component of our program.
