- We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Celtic heritage in Southern Nevada. We do that by throwing the annual Las Vegas Highland Games, as well as supporting other local groups such as the Southern Nevada Sons and Daughters of Erin, the St. Andrews Society of Southern Nevada, and the Las Vegas Pipe Band through volunteering, scholarships, and donations. The Las Vegas Celtic Society is a group of like-minded folks who got together in 2004 to organize a Celtic Gathering and Highland Games in Las Vegas. Some love Highland Dance, Some love Bagpipe and Drum Bands, and some love Heavy Athletics, but all want to celebrate their heritage in a fun, educational way.
