- The South Carolina Association of Law Enforcement Explorers was founded with the intent of:1. Helping young adults become mature responsible citizens and community leaders.2. Offer the opportunity for young adults to examine the law enforcement profession in order for them to make an informed career choice.3. Offer law enforcement educational opportunities.4. Offer competitive events that will challenge the training experience in law enforcement for young adults.5. Create social and professional relationships between law enforcement agencies and young adults.6. Create a better understanding of available law enforcement programs at the local, state and national levels.7. Encourage a stable set of moral, ethical and professional values.In addition to all other activities of the organization a Statewide Competition is held in the summer of each year.The 2011 S.C.A.L.E. Competition will be hosted by The Anderson City Police Department July 18-23, 2011
