- Post Growth is a catalyst for identifying, inspiring and implementing new approaches to global well-being - a world focused on better, not bigger. Our mission is to build and empower a broad-based global movement dedicated to creating global prosperity that does not depend on economic growth. We do this by supporting three things:1.Learning: We help people develop knowledge of post growth ideas through our blog; our emerging macro-economic vision and framework based on not-for-profit enterprise; and our How on Earth database which showcases thousands of post growth ideas, activities, players and platforms.2.Connecting: We bring people, groups and ideas together via: our (En)Rich List - a showcase of 100 inspirational human beings who have worked for a sustainable future; our forums and groups database; our Facebook page; the Post Growth Alliance - a network of like-minded organizations using collective reach to enhance each others impacts and grow the broader post growth movement; and our Supporter Shout-outs a platform for our supporters to enter post growth related work theyd like us to promote.3.Acting: We provide people with avenues to act, via a showcase of inspiring, personal steps for how to live post growth lives; Free Money Day a global event in which people give money to strangers, two coins/notes at a time, asking recipients to pass half on; The Post Growth Challenge a competition offering $100, consultancy and promotional support for the best world(view) changing idea for deep sustainability; and our professional consultancy service providing assistance to people seeking to start, scale or sustain not-for-profit initiatives anywhere in the world.Currently Post Growth is a virtual community, with collaborators spread across many countries including the United States, Australia, Canada, Greece, and Sweden. We come from a wide range of backgrounds, each committed to making a better world for everyone.
