• I joined Macro Corporation in 2007 and have enjoyed a twenty five year career in Telecommunications, Public Safety and Information Technology. Fortunately I have been at the forefront of emerging technology and have served at the senior management level in both the public and private sector. My private sector experience includes; Director for Pacific Bells Advanced Communications Network; Vice President of Engineering for both RCN and Harron Communications; President of Cheetah Technologies which designed and built computerized automated test and monitoring systems. In addition I have worked for Scientific Atlanta/Cisco where I served as Technical Lead and Project Manager for Verizons FiOS and ATTs IPTV network deployments. Public sector service includes; Technology Consultant to both the City and County of San Francisco and the City of Los Angeles and Director (Civil Service) of Technology and Operations for Public Safety Services for the City and County of San Francisco. In that position I managed a diverse technical staff of 80 which still provides the technical support for the LMR, Microwave, Fiber, SONET, Telephony and CAD infrastructure for the Police, Fire, and Emergency Services Departments for the City and County of San Francisco.
