    • The Centers for Exceptional Children (CFEC) are dedicated to serving children with developmental delays, orthopedic disabilities and other health impairments. Our mission is to educate, nurture and support children with special needs to reach their highest potential intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. We accomplish our mission through providing developmentally appropriate education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/language therapy. In addition, both of our Winston-Salem, NC campuses provide nursing support, family support services, and numerous enrichment activities. The CFEC serves children and families in most of Northwest North Carolina.
