- The Greek America Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1997 by Gregory C. Pappas with a mission to promote, preserve and perpetuate the Greek culture, history and heritage in America.With a series of publications, programs, concerts, special events and institutional endeavors, the foundation seeks to bring elements of Greek culture, history and heritagealso known as Hellenismto the forefront of mainstream America, making it a relevant component of our followers everyday life.The has a series of academic programs for young people, including full tuition scholarships for study abroad in Greece, a post-bac fellowship and a pre-professional internship program in collaboration with the Libra Group. The foundation also hosts the Gabby Awards, a biennial celebration of excellence in North America and the National Innovation Conference.
